The Yogi Within

Close your eyes
Find your zin
Quiet your mind
Deep within

Calm the chatter
Exterior noise
Ground yourself
Still your poise

Travel to
That sacred place
Release tension
Honor that space

Your body is
A temple to
Respect and honor
Show gratitude

And when your mind
Can take you there
Your body too
Form will share

Stretch and bend
As you aim to
Mind and spirit
Will carry through

Honor the yogi
Deep within
And with time
You’ll find a friend...
