Ann Lefkovits is the owner and founder of The Graceful Yogi. She’s built a community of like-minded yogis from the humble beginnings of her own home studio.

Ann was introduced to yoga in 1978 in her freshman year at college when Yoga studies were placed in the theatre department. Ann completed her studies with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Health Minor and a Certification in Athletic Training, University of Dayton, 1981.  Ann has always loved sports whether participating or helping others to achieve their goals. In between her career in the fashion industry, Ann was a personal trainer and started her journey into yoga.  In 1998, she became a student of guru Pretzel "Bija" France. She learned the Pretzel’s Yoga method. Her teaching is a mixture of Iyengar, Bikram, Pilates, music and laughter.

For the next 17 years, Ann practiced with Pretzel and learned techniques that became the foundation for her teaching. In 2013, Pretzel convinced Ann to become certified and teach. In 2014, Pretzel passed away and left her with the amazing gift of her yoga and teachings. Ann takes it upon herself to share the gifts of her guru in the studio each day.
